Violent Night (2022)
Santa is real, he's burned out, and mercenaries just took the wrong house hostage.
A wealthy family's Christmas Eve is interrupted by thieves after their vault; the only backup is a mall-weary Santa (David Harbour) who turns out to have a Viking past and a naughty-list skill set. A midnight-movie formula executed with total commitment: Die Hard by way of the North Pole, with a little girl and a walkie-talkie as its heart.
