The Man Who Invented Christmas (2017)
Charles Dickens has six weeks to write A Christmas Carol — and his characters won't behave.
In debt after three flops, Dickens (Dan Stevens) conceives a Christmas ghost story and races to publish it himself by Christmas, while Scrooge (Christopher Plummer) materializes to argue with him in his study. A film about how the Carol invented our Christmas as much as Christmas invented it.
