Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984)
The killer-Santa film that parents picketed out of theaters in 1984.

Traumatized by his parents' murder by a criminal in a Santa suit, Billy grows up in an orphanage and snaps when forced to wear the suit himself at his toy-store job. The controversy — TV ads pulled, protests, Siskel and Ebert reading the producers' names in shame — made it a cult landmark of holiday horror.
