One Magic Christmas (1985)
A weary mother, a Christmas angel, and a letter to the North Pole.
Ginnie Grainger has lost the spirit under the weight of a hard year — so an angel named Gideon is assigned to her family, and events take a darker turn than most Christmas films dare before the miracle lands. Mary Steenburgen and Harry Dean Stanton elevate this Disney production. Keep tissues ready.
