Lethal Weapon (1987)
Two mismatched cops, one Christmas in Los Angeles.
Suicidal detective Martin Riggs is partnered with by-the-book Roger Murtaugh ('I'm too old for this') just before the holidays, and a drug ring gives them both reasons to live and shoot. Richard Donner's film set the template for every buddy-cop movie after — and it opens and closes at Christmas.
