Let It Snow (2019)
A Christmas Eve snowstorm strands a small town's teenagers — and every crush, feud, and secret collides by morning.
When a once-in-a-decade snowstorm buries their small town on Christmas Eve, a group of high-school seniors finds every plan rerouted: a stranded pop star, a stolen keg, a friendship on the line, and a Waffle Town party where it all comes together. By Christmas morning, three love stories have changed for good.
Think of it as Love Actually for the young-adult shelf — which is exactly its lineage, adapted from the hit story collection by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle. The ensemble is stacked with soon-to-be-everywhere talent (Kiernan Shipka, Jacob Batalon, Isabela Merced), and Joan Cusack floats through as the mysterious Tin Foil Woman dispensing unlikely wisdom. Sweet without being saccharine, it is the rare teen Christmas movie adults can watch all the way through — and many do, every year.
