Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town (1970)
Fred Astaire, a mailman, and the whole origin story of Santa Claus.
S.D. Kluger the mailman answers children's questions: how a red-haired orphan named Kris Kringle became Santa, met Jessica (the future Mrs. Claus), melted the Winter Warlock's heart, and outwitted the Burgermeister. Mickey Rooney voices Kris. It's Rankin/Bass world-building at its most charming.
