A Diva's Christmas Carol (2000)
Pop superstar Ebony Scrooge skims her own charity concert — so her dead bandmate comes back with three ghosts and a set list.

Ebony Scrooge is one of the biggest pop stars on earth, and she treats everyone around her — her band, her manager, her family — as staff. Home in New York for a Christmas charity concert she quietly plans to skim, she is visited by Marli Jacob, her old bandmate from their trio days, who died after Ebony abandoned her. Then come the ghosts: Christmas Past in a whirl of 1980s fame, Christmas Present on tour with her exhausted band, and a future Ebony does not want to see. By Christmas morning, the diva has a decision to make.
VH1 built this one out of its own world: Vanessa Williams plays Ebony with real pop-star authority and sings original songs, including 'Heartquake'; TLC's Chilli is Marli, Kathy Griffin is the Ghost of Christmas Past, and Duran Duran's John Taylor is Christmas Present. It premiered in December 2000, vanished from streaming for years, and survived on fan devotion — director Richard Schenkman eventually put it on Vimeo himself.
