“Inventing the Christmas Prince” spins a charming tale of holiday magic and unexpected love. Shelby (played by Tamera Mowry-Housley), a single mom and rocket scientist, considers leaving her job due to her cold and distant boss, Evan (Ronnie Rowe). However, her plans take a whimsical turn when her daughter, Grace (Isabel Birch), believes Evan is the Christmas Prince from a heartwarming story Shelby invented. With her daughter’s belief in the magic of Christmas at stake, Shelby persuades Evan to embody the prince in exchange for her continued employment.

As they collaborate to fulfill Grace’s Christmas wishes, the narrative unfolds in a small town that improbably hosts private space companies. Shelby and Evan, each with their own quirks and complexities, navigate their roles in Grace’s fanciful tale, leading to a journey of transformation and romance.

Directed by Paul Ziller and penned by Kim Beyer-Johnson, “Inventing the Christmas Prince” showcases how the spirit of the season can thaw the chilliest of hearts and kindle affection in the most unlikely of scenarios. The film combines the enchantment of Christmas fairytales with the grounded struggles of modern working life, culminating in a festive story that aims to captivate audiences with its blend of sentiment, science, and the search for personal connection.
