Haitian-Canadian actor Benz Antoine is a master of versatility, melting seamlessly into every role with truth and nuance. The son of blue-collar immigrant parents, Antoine grew up in Montreal excelling at sports and music, never expecting to become a performer. But a childhood friend’s persistent encouragement pushed him into acting classes after high school. The experience unlocked Antoine’s hidden passion, and he began rigorous training to transform himself into a force of nature on screen.

Antoine’s magnetism was undeniable in shows like 19-2, Private Eyes, and Mary Kills People. But his breakthrough came as the mysterious, brutal Viktor on CBC’s gritty drama The Detail. Towering in size yet smooth in delivery, Antoine stunned critics with his chilling depiction of an enigmatic criminal. Producers took note, and Antoine began booking roles designed to showcase his complexity.

On The Handmaid’s Tale, his quietly menacing Commander Vincent elicited goosebumps with subtle gestures of power and cruelty. And in 2021, Antoine reached new dramatic heights on Star Trek: Discovery, bringing heartbreaking depth to Cleveland Booker’s grief. At only 43, his courage to bare raw emotion hints at ever-greater feats ahead.

With his chameleon-like abilities and unflinching commitment to truth, Benz Antoine shapes stories from the inside out. His restless intensity drives him to ever-more daring creative heights. Audiences and critics eagerly anticipate the day his explosive talent takes center stage.
